          • Testimony
            1994-1995, BA

Created a great learning environment where critical thinking was mandatory.Concordia University-Ann Arbor created and maintained an academic environment where critical, creative and metacognitive thinking was strongly encouraged among the student body. We were told that one of the underlying objectives of their bachelors degree curriculum was to prepare us to handle the intellectual and academic rigors to complete a doctoral degree program. Well, at the time I did not view myself as doctoral material. But, years later, while attending a doctoral program, I could see that graduating from Concordia University-Ann Arbor did, in fact, prepare me to overcome the challenges of completing the doctoral program. I had been equipped to confront, and overcome, the challenge of passing the block of required statistic courses, passing the doctoral degree comprehensive exams process, preparing the doctoral dissertation proposal and the defense of my dissertation findings. Enrolling at Concordia University-Ann Arbor was the best decision I could have made to complete my higher education!Show less
