School Description

Colorado Mesa University (CMU) is home to over 11,000 students from 46 states and 39 countries around the world and offer bachelor’s degree courses in a wide range of subject areas including archeology, business administration, civil engineering, computer science, education, psychology, geography, nursing, and radiologic sciences. 

 CMU housing options include the variety of residence halls where several facilities like Free Wi-Fi, laundry, computer labs, and cable TV are made available. CMU students also have access to a number of facilities such as the library, art gallery, theaters, bookstore, and many other services.     CMU offers a number of merit-based and need-based scholarships to bachelor’s degree students including the merit scholarship for high-achieving international bachelor’s degree students, the Delta Kappa Gamma scholarship, and the Chapter XI Scholarship Award.

    GPA is evaluated on a case-by-case basis however a 3.0 equivalent is the approximately cutoff for a 4-year Bachelor’s program. Students with a GPA below 3.0 can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for conditional admission or admission to one of CMU’s 2-year Associate degree programs.

    For scholarship eligibility, students must have the equivalent of a 3.0 as a first-time student (2.5 if a student has completed any University level credit, regardless of which country it may be from).

            Great School, Great LocationColorado Mesa University offers the quality education of a larger school while maintaining smaller class sizes, technologically advanced classrooms, and a sense of community. It is also home of The Monfort Family Human Performance Lab- a state-of-the-art lab containing some of the most technologically advanced equipment west of the Rockies, which provides services to students, athletes, and members of the community. CMU is a great, fast-growing school located within five minutes of great hiking and 30 minutes of Powderhorn Mountain Resort.
