          • Testimony
            1996-2000, B.A.

Choosing to attend Coe was one of the best decisions I ever made. It was the right fit for me academically, socially, and allowed me to crawl out behind my shadow a little and take some leadership opportunities. I made lifetimes friendships with my classamates, and with some professors.

          • Testimony
            1981-1985, Bachelor of Arts

As a native Californian, transplanted in Colorado, I chose a school almost 1000 miles from home because of its outstanding reputation that continues today. Iowa is known for its excellent schools, and Coe definitely helped shape me professionally and personally. Loved my profs and piano teacher, Sharon Stang, who just retired!

          • Testimony
            1969-1973, BS

The life-long friendships made with people that I now consider extensions to my family. The great education and nurturing gained from committed faculty members. It was also great serving as President of the African American Self Education Organization (A.A.S.E.O.) for three years, and working with the administration in bringing more of the African American culture to the campus. I got my start managing budgets and developing organizational strategies right there on Coe's campus. Thanks a million Coe!!!!
