2005-2008, My Foundation for Leadership: Canisius College
Canisius pushed all of us (class of 2008) to lead projects, work groups, class topic or volunteer. It reinforced the work ethic I learned for my parents and molded me into who I am today.

2005-, One of a Kind
Canisius College has long had a tremendous impact on my life. From the time I was a little boy going to Canisius versus St. Bonaventure games at the Memorial Auditorium with my father I knew there was something special about that school. I was lucky enough to be accepted to Canisius, and from the start the personal attention the faculty and staff gave me helped me find a voice, and to begin to believe that I could succeed and thrive in the world outside my door. My wife is also a Canisius grad also, and maybe one day our kids will be too. As time goes on, it becomes more and more clear that no other school could have provided the support and attention I needed quite like Canisius. It really is a Jesuit gem!

1969-1973, Excellent Education at Canisius College
Most of my instructors were Full Professors. I appreciate the opportunity I had in the early 70's to study English Literature with Charlie Brady, Ed Zimmerman, and Dr. Lauerman. Most of the Liberal Arts courses were packed with value and meaning for me at that time. Having finished a tour of duty in Viet Nam, I was full of my own ideas and Canisius provided an opportunity for me to test out those ideas in the classroom and then later in life. I started out teaching English at Bishop Newman in Williamsville, and when I decided to change course and go into business, I was fully prepared for that as well. Canisius College was a big part of that.
