            1959-1960, AA with Honors

            College of General Education....

I attended CGE 1959-1960, and thought it was an excellent introduction to higher education for the cohort of ex-GI's I attended with. Working in cross-disciplinary terms, it introduced us to a Western Civilization-based "History of Ideas"; much of it was its excellent faculty, dedicated to the concept. It has since folded, and I still wonder why. I'd love it if anyone at CGE -- or BU in general -- could respond to that on this forum.

            Great Systems Engineering School!

I graduated from College of Engineering in 1991. BU had the best software systems engineering program in the country! Loved ever minute of it. The faculty was great, and provided an environment where it was not all academic, but practical business engineering projects and discussions. Good options were introduced as well through Harvard, specially the course on Engineering Management. Highly recommended.

The great variety of people - from all over the world, the ambitious, driven, motivating "Can Do!" spirit on campus. Besides having the best Communication Department and Hospitality college - living and studying in the city of Boston is a gift by itself.
