I transferred to Barton from NCSU which was much MUCH larger. Coming out of High School I thought I had to go to a big school that people knew about. When NCSU was not a good fit for me I started looking around. I took a tour at Barton even though I was skeptical because it was so small and I had never heard of it before. I loved it immediately. My time there was tons of fun and the fact that the school was small made it more fun. I knew lots of people, I knew my professors really well, and I had a great time while I was there. They have lots of activities on campus, clubs, sports, and a great pride in the students that go there. Go Bulldogs!

Once thing I absolutely loved by Barton College was the utter beauty of the campus. Even though its 100yrs old it was a well maintained college. I was able to work with the IT Team to setup an integrated Intranet for students which honed my programming skills which were essential in getting me my first Assignment at GMAC Insurance. I also love their community based character which I believe lets students learn the "Soft" skills which in my opinion are far more important than technical abilities. Its a place for fond memories for me! Thanks Barton for making me the man I'm today!

I loved attending Barton College. It combined high quality academics, great school spirit and a terrific smaller school environment in ways that helped form who I am. Our fraternity brothers still stay in touch with each other after all these years! Highly recommend the school.
