School Description

American College Dublin was founded by the liberal arts institution from Florida called Lynn University in May 1993. It initially started as a study abroad campus for American students in Ireland where it accepted its first liberal arts and business degree students. By 1996, the college produced its first batch of graduates who were addressed by the American Ambassador to Ireland and sister of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, Jean Kennedy Smith.

Today, American College Dublin has grown into a global institution providing high quality education in areas of liberal arts, performing arts, creative writing, international business, accounts and finance, hospitality and event management to its students, 60% of which come from outside the Republic of Ireland. Its campus once consisting of a single-house has expanded to occupy three more adjacent properties and additional facilities including an enlarged library, computer laboratories, student dining and recreation facilities.
