I recommend the schoolI was in the MD/PhD program and think that the caliber of education is as good as it gets with that type of curriculum. I also think that students who worry about tuition should look into the MD/PhD program or the Military/USPHS programs. That way no worry over loans. it is all paid for. it is one less thing to worry about. the Military kids also get a salary while going to school.MD/PhD you get a stipend. it is enough to live on and not have to worry.

A Relatively Unheralded GemAlbany Medical College is one of those schools that flies below the radar of the popular "knowledge." Among those who actually know something about medical education, Albany is highly regarded as one of the top schools in the country, consistently producing graduates who excel in their post-graduate fields. I loved the dedication of Albany's professors, the efforts made to connect basic science to clinical problems, the emphasis on ethics, empathy, patients and their families. Graduates from Albany are confident in their knowledge and their skills. They have practiced on simulated patients and led teams of their colleagues and cared for real people in real crises under careful supervision. I only chose Albany for it's location - close enough to where my fiancé lived to get married. I guess I have to thank Williams College for giving him a job.
