Why did you choose ACPHS?I chose ACPHS because it is the only college within the Capital Region, as well as within the tri-state area, that offers a master's program in cytotechnology. What has surprised you most about your experience thus far?I've been surprised with the rigor of the program. Since the goal is to prepare you to become a professional and work a full time schedule, students maintain approximately a 40 hour school week. At first it was difficult to handle the demands of the program, but over time, I have made the adjustment. After graduating, I will be fully prepared to handle the demands of being a cytotechnologist because the graduate program simulated the schedule of a cytotechnologist so well.

Why did you choose ACPHS?There were a few reasons as to why I chose ACPHS. I am in the joint degree program with ACPHS and The College of Saint Rose which allows me to start my master's degree during my senior year as an undergraduate. Also, the location and small campus community that ACPHS offers reminded me of the same reasons that I chose my first college. But it was the professors that I would be taught by that definitely made the difference for me. The professors in this program are among the most respected in their fields, and I am honored to be one of their students.
