School Description

Atlanta Metropolitan State College was established in 1974 as the Atlanta Junior College. The construction for the college began in 1973, and classes began a year later with just 504 students. After changing its name to Atlanta Metropolitan College, the college changed from a two year college, to a State College in 2011. A year later, it officially became Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

Atlanta Metropolitan State College today has 3000 students. AMSC has many student clubs and organizations for students to get involved in. some of these include, Art Club, Drama Club, International Student Organization, and Travel and Culture Club.
