Spanish (Arizona State University)
A 4-year Spanish program at Arizona State University provides students with a thorough understanding of the Spanish language. Spanish is among the most commonly spoken languages around the world and also shares roots with many other languages making it a versatile language to learn.
A Bachelor Degree program in Spanish requires 120-course hours to be completed by enrolled students. In their time at the university, students may learn not only how to converse and write in Spanish, but also about Spain’s traditions, culture and vibrant history. Students who have completed their courses should be able to speak the language comfortably, and also read and write in Spanish, as well.
Upon earning a Spanish degree, a student may pursue a career as an educator or translator. The fluent understanding of the Spanish language also expands a graduate’s potential career options to include jobs which require being bilingual or are located in Spanish-speaking regions.
ASU's academic programs are spread across campuses in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; however, unlike most multi-campus institutions, the campuses of ASU are all individually different- each has its own distinct function to fulfill in line with the university's mission.Read more About this school
