Physical Education (Arizona State University)
A 4-year Bachelor Degree Program at Arizona State University includes 120 hours of course credits. Through the Physical Education program, graduates not only learn the physical education skills to pass on to future students, but they also learn the professional education skills to help convey that information to them.
The program includes courses which focus on a wide range of relevant skills. Kinesiology and similar courses may assist a student to better understand the body, its movements, and how to build physical health. Courses like exercise psychology help the student to understand the mental motivations behind physical activity to prepare them to develop an exercise-positive attitude among students. When physical education students take courses on education, they may learn useful skills to better connect with future students and make them more receptive to instruction.
The Physical Education program is designed to prepare graduates for a successful career in the education world.
ASU's academic programs are spread across campuses in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; however, unlike most multi-campus institutions, the campuses of ASU are all individually different- each has its own distinct function to fulfill in line with the university's mission.Read more About this school
