Fine Arts (Arizona State University)
The School of Art at Arizona State University offers a myriad of majors for students to choose from. These four-year programs give participants the opportunity to work with faculty members as well as each other to come up with innovative ideas and works of art. Students have access to the research center, internships and cutting-edge technology.
Most options at the Herberger Institute for Design and Arts are extremely hands-on. For those interested in creating art, there is ceramics, drawing, fashion, sculptures, photography and more. Students who prefer to study or teach can go into art education, art studies or the art history program. No matter what path the student chooses, the faculty is there to encourage innovative thinking and teach the history of each medium.
This program provides students with the chance to collaborate and critique each other’s work. This helps prepare participants for a wide variety of careers in the fine arts field.
ASU's academic programs are spread across campuses in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; however, unlike most multi-campus institutions, the campuses of ASU are all individually different- each has its own distinct function to fulfill in line with the university's mission.Read more About this school
