Computer Science (Arizona State University)
The Bachelor of Science Computer Science program is a four-year study at Arizona State University. The curriculum focuses on a variety of applications using computer systems and software. Information management, networking, artificial intelligence, cyber security, multimedia, computer vision and graphics are all applications focused on in the coursework.
The student completes a project as part of their program concentrating on information transformation and transfer, solving problems with computational processes and computer design. The teaching emphasizes usability, quality and security of information systems and computer software. From computer games to data management for data analytics, graduates impact businesses using their learned skills and knowledge to impact businesses on a local or global scale.
Graduates can integrate their skills and knowledge of computer and information sciences with other disciplines in the workplace or academic setting. In under five years, students can complete an accelerated master’s degree in computer science. The Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET accredits the program.
