School Description

Antelope Valley College (AVC) is home to over 18,700 students. Students at AVC are offered a Bachelor’s of Science in Airframe Manufacturing Technology (AFMT). The AFMT program equips students with knowledge about electronics, aircraft manufacturing, and aircraft fabrication, meeting the needs of the aerospace industry. Students at AVC can benefit from a range of multipurpose facilities and services such as the Instructional Multimedia Center, the Learning Center, the AVC Library, as well as health and counseling services. Moreover, students can join a range of clubs and organizations, and participate in activities and events. Additionally, the AVC Career Center assists students in developing their careers with career assessments and workshops, along with one-on-one guidance, and help to find job placements.
