Andrews University

School Description

Andrew University traces its early beginnings from over a century ago, when it was established in Battle Creek, Michigan as Battle Creek College in the year 1874, offering programs in literature, languages, science, mathematics, teacher training and theology. Over the years, the institution flourished despite difficult challenges and moved to its current campus in Berrien Springs to accommodate its growing number of student enrollment. By 1960, it was joined by two other institutions to form Andrews University.

Today, Andrew University's 1,600-acre campus is composed of 4 apartment and residence halls, 3 libraries, an astronomy observatory, and 26 academic buildings which house 8 schools and colleges through which the university offers 130 undergraduate and 70 graduate programs in areas of arts and sciences, aviation, architecture and interior design, business administration, education, health, and theological studies. Andrews University enrolls over 3,500 students from all 50 states and nearly 100 countries across the globe.
