School Description

Abo Akademie University (Åbo Akademi) offers seven English-taught graduate level programs through its four faculties namely: Faculty of Arts, Psychology and Theology; Faculty of Science and Engineering; Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Economics. These programs include: master's degree in Biomedical Imaging, Chemical Engineering, Governance of Digitalization, Information Technology, International Law and Human Rights, Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research and Social Exclusion.

Åbo Akademi houses a total student population of 5,500 at its campus towns of Turku and Vaasa in Finland. The Turku and Vaasa campuses of Åbo Akademi are equipped with all the modern facilities including student library, reading rooms for studies, lockers, computer and wireless network connection. The Centre for Lifelong Learning at Åbo Akademi is the university's dedicated training centre that offers courses to separate individuals, teams and other groups of employees and organizations, the public sector and private companies. Students at Åbo Akademi are also provided are wide range of pastoral support services including counselling sessions with Study advisors, study psychologists, student health care services and more.
