The University of Hull campus is located in Kingston upon Hull, situated at the northern shore of the Humber Estuary, a few miles away from the east coast of England. The dynamic city of Hull is in close proximity to some of Britain's loveliest countryside, as well as expansive coastlines.

Remarkable student experience
The University of Hull offers its students different activities and club societies that further enrich their student life. Everyone can enjoy time to relax and refuel after exams, classes, and heavy workloads.
The Students’ Union is the social hub at the university. Whether you just want to grab some snacks in between lectures or you are looking for somewhere to unwind, this place has got you covered. Nightlife and gigs are also allowed on campus with Hull’s very own Asylum nightclub. Even one of the country's biggest Pride events takes place right here in Hull! Over 50,000 people turned up to Pride in Hull in 2018 and the university aims to have a bigger, brighter, bolder, and prouder crowd in the upcoming years for the annual celebration of the LGBTQ community.

Hull research institutes and teams have focused on topics such as driving innovation in low carbon energy, protecting the oceans, climate change, and flood resilience, minimizing waste and pollution, improving cancer survival rates, and providing the best end-of-life care.
One of Hull’s recent contributions includes a new clinical trial worth £60,000 established to halt Sarcoidosis – a potentially fatal disease that affects more than 7,000 people across the UK. Researchers from the University of Hull aim to use an existing drug to stop Sarcoidosis in its tracks and prevent anyone else from suffering from the disease. The trial is launched during Sarcoidosis Awareness Month in April and will run through 2019.
Hull also received the Queen’s Award for Technological Achievement after introducing a breakthrough discovery about liquid-crystal technology.
