The flagship Harbor East campus of Carey in Baltimore, Maryland is located in a neighborhood that has emerged as the new pulse and trendsetter for business in Baltimore, from established firms to newly relocated ventures and thriving startups. The Carey faculty produces thought-provoking learning experiences that cover a range of academic disciplines, cross-disciplinary boundaries, and address society’s pressing challenges. Additionally, the Flexible MBA offers the freedom to earn a powerful, respected business degree part-time online or on campus, whatever suits your schedule.
As a business school, Carey promotes excellence, diversity, and inclusion among faculty, students, staff, and the greater community. Through the school’s Student Success Center (SSC), quality in-person, online, and drop-in tutoring services are provided to help students improve writing and quantitative skills. Students can benefit from the Library Centers located across campuses where librarians assist students with the selection of credible sources, mastering research projects, and providing directions on how to utilize more than 70 business databases.

Currently, Carey has 19 active student organizations that are mission-focused communities to enhance collaboration, streamline programming, and maximize university resources. These organizations are managed by the Student Ventures Team within the Office of Experiential Learning. Grouped into three categories – Industry & Professional Organizations, Identity/Cultural Organizations, and Innovation & Impact Network – students can increase or share their knowledge, advocate for diverse student identities, and build strong social and professional networks.
