Founded in 2007, the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, also referred to as Carey Business School or JHUCarey, is the business school of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), it serves as the training ground for aspiring exemplary business leaders and citizens from over 60 countries around the world.

JHUCarey has two campuses located within two flourishing neighborhoods — Baltimore’s Harbor East and Washington, D.C.
The flagship Harbor East campus of JHUCarey in Baltimore, Maryland is located in a city that has emerged as the new pulse and trendsetter for business in Baltimore, from established firms to newly relocated ventures and thriving startups. The Harbor East campus is in the state-of-the-art Legg Mason Building, featuring almost 146,000 square feet of classrooms, student study spaces and offices.
The JHUCarey Washington, D.C. campus is situated in the heart of the nation’s capital. Road to academic excellence
The JHUCarey faculty produces thought-provoking learning experiences that covers a range of academic disciplines, cross disciplinary boundaries and address society’s pressing challenges. The courses offered combine theoretical building blocks with practical knowledge, using a variety of teaching methods including case studies, experiential learning, simulations and community service.
The Global MBA is the business incubator for a better world. This full-time program makes use of real-world learning experiences, one-on-one support and an influential worldwide network of 222,000 Johns Hopkins University alumni. Alternatively, the Flexible MBA offers the freedom to earn a powerful, respected business degree online or on campus, whatever suits your schedule.
As a business school, JHUCarey promotes excellence, diversity and inclusion among faculty, students, staff and the greater community. Through the school’s Student Success Center (SSC), quality in-person, and online and drop-in tutoring services are provided to help students improve writing and quantitative skills. Students can benefit from the Library Centers located across campuses where librarians assist students with the selection of credible sources, mastering research projects, and providing directions on how to utilize more than 70 business databases.

Currently, JHUCarey has 19 active student organizations that are mission-focused communities to enhance collaboration, streamline programming and maximize university resources. These organizations are managed by the Student Ventures Team within the Office of Experiential Learning. Grouped into three categories – Industry & Professional Organizations, Identity/Cultural Organizations, and Innovation & Impact Network – students can increase or share their knowledge, advocate for diverse student identities, and build strong social and professional networks.
