Cultural diversity is celebrated at Woodbury University. With students from over 40 different countries, Woodbury provides many opportunities to meet people from all around the world. Not only that, the faculty and staff at Woodbury understand that international students arrive in the United States wondering how to assimilate into the new culture and how to best achieve their academic aspirations.

To aid international students in this regard, each is assigned to an International Peer Advisor (IPA) who helps them transition to life at Woodbury and in the United States. Tutors and writing coaches are also on hand to aid overseas students in various subjects, helping them to achieve their academic goals. Academic Peer Mentors meet with students on a weekly basis to ensure that students receive guidance with their course selection, class work, time-management and campus procedures.

Woodbury University has easy access to theatres, parks, and a wide variety of dining and other entertainment venues.

International Student Workshops are also organised by the university and there is even a course titled “Culture Shocks” designed for both local and international students covering topics such as intercultural diversity and the different attitudes various cultures have towards education. Informative and fun activities are specially organised for international students to provide them exposure to the Southern California area and culture. And last, but not least, the Woodbury International Student Association (WISA) also supports overseas students by organising and encouraging inter-cultural communication and events.
