 Enjoy Student Living At ACU

Abilene Christian University is set in a safe residential campus community where students will find everything they need nearby - dining options, a gym, an on-campus salon, dry-cleaning services, and lots of places to study, and hang out with friends.

For on-campus entertainment and activities, ACU offers over 100 student groups and organisations to join, enabling students to meet new people, explore new interests or practice old skills. Students can get involved in the community and join the Acapella Chorus, American Marketing Association, Cycling Club or the Students’ Association to name a few of the many groups offered at the university.

Students can also stay active at The Royce and Pam Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center, a new facility that offers many different services to the community. There is a Fitness Center, Aquatic Center, Racquetball Courts, a Snack Bar Area and much more in this world-class fitness and wellness complex.

Experience Spiritual Development

As a Christian university, ACU places strong emphasis on spiritual development and building connections with oneself, community, and God. Since 1906, school tradition encourages the student community to gather together for daily Chapel. Though the tradition remains strong, the face of the community has changed drastically since that time – the community is now culturally and religiously diverse. At ACU, students are challenged academically and spiritually – the faculty and staff are not only leaders in their fields, they also help guide students to be fair, kind and compassionate individuals. The principles taught and practiced at ACU will guide students throughout their lives in social and professional arenas.

Choose From A Variety Of On-Campus Dining Options

Students will not go hungry during their time at ACU – the residential dining hall, The World Famous Bean, offers more than 240 food choices including vegan and gluten-free meals. There is also a full-time nutritionist on staff who posts the nutritional values of all meals for students to review before selecting their meals. In addition to this, there is a wide selection of food chains available on campus, such as Chick-fil-A, Quiznos and Starbucks.

Be A Proud Wildcat

The sports enthusiasts will not be let down by the ACU sports programs. The university baseball team, the Wildcats, plays Division I baseball against some of the toughest college teams in the country. ACU athletes compete in 16 NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports for men and women, and many have gone on to become professional athletes.
