Experience Spiritual Development
As a Christian university, ACU places strong emphasis on spiritual development and building connections with oneself, community, and God. Since 1906, school tradition encourages the student community to gather together for daily Chapel. Though the tradition remains strong, the face of the community has changed drastically since that time – the community is now culturally and religiously diverse. At ACU, students are challenged academically and spiritually – the faculty and staff are not only leaders in their fields, they also help guide students to be fair, kind and compassionate individuals. The principles taught and practiced at ACU will guide students throughout their lives in social and professional arenas.
Choose From A Variety Of On-Campus Dining Options
Students will not go hungry during their time at ACU – the residential dining hall, The World Famous Bean, offers more than 240 food choices including vegan and gluten-free meals. There is also a full-time nutritionist on staff who posts the nutritional values of all meals for students to review before selecting their meals. In addition to this, there is a wide selection of food chains available on campus, such as Chick-fil-A, Quiznos and Starbucks.
Be A Proud Wildcat
The sports enthusiasts will not be let down by the ACU sports programs. The university baseball team, the Wildcats, plays Division I baseball against some of the toughest college teams in the country. ACU athletes compete in 16 NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports for men and women, and many have gone on to become professional athletes.
